Introductions
Business
- From the Governance Calendar:
- March quarterly meeting between the Coordinator and Chair; April fiscal and executive committee meetings.
- Reminder about the Swimming Upstream Awards, April 18th. If you would like to be involved please contact the coordinator
- Meeting calendar for the year: Move May meeting to the 22nd so it doesn’t conflict with the Governor’s Conference on Impaired Driving in Wyoming (14 to 15th). Approved.
- By-laws revision: vote to rescind the revision approved in November, consider revision of quorum definition. Ms. Wordal explained that the bylaws approved in November were tabled by the Commission based on a concern from the County Attorney’s office with the new membership positions On the table is a proposal that would change quorum to 5 members present in order to conduct business at a Task Force meeting. Motion to approve the proposed changes as submitted by the County Attorney by Mr. Carpenter, seconded by Ms. Wordal. Approved.
- Discuss/approve membership committee charter -- continued from November and now tabled for May. Need to reconsider the advocacy charter in May as well.
- Committee updates
- The committee reviewed and made recommendations on the part of the 3 year Strategic Plan that relates to PI&E.
- Ski Season project: shared images that might be included in the poster
- Ms. Caplette met with the Justice Court Judges and the Real DUI Court concept will not be workable in Gallatin County at this time.
- ASMSU has sent the Late Night Streamline Coasters to the printer.
- Ms. McLaughlin presented a committee update regarding approval of a MHP Wet Lab in June. Proposed MHP overtime patrols are tentatively approved pending a revision of the time frame for the patrols
Finances
- The Treasurer reported on a meeting he and the Coordinator had with Ed Blackman where they prepared a proposed Fiscal 2014 Budget. That draft budget was included in the meeting packet.
Strategic Planning with Terry Profota: The three year plan for Fiscal 2014 through 2016 was drafted and approved with no dissenting votes.
